Chief Executive Officer

Kenneth Mulvany

Kenneth joined Proximagen in March 2004 as Chief Executive and acts to focus the Company's commitment to deliver novel drugs and innovative new treatments for Central Nervous System disorders, bringing new hope to patients and value to shareholders.

Prior to joining Proximagen, Kenneth worked in the venture capital markets focused on the technology industry. Kenneth played key roles in developing several successful high-tech start-ups. He brings 15 years of business leadership and experience to Proximagen.

Kenneth competed in the 1992 America's Cup.




Finance Director

James Hunter

James joined the Group in January 2005 as Financial Controller and was subsequently appointed to the Board in February 2006. James joined Proximagen after spending six years in the corporate finance team at Ernst & Young where he worked in mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. James has an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.




Head of Research & Development

Dr Stevo Knezevic

Stevo joined Proximagen in April 2010 as Head of Research & Development. He was previously Chief Medical Officer, EMEA and VP of the Global Clinical Team at Wyeth and prior to that Stevo was the Head of Worldwide Clinical Development for Serono.




Head of Business Development

Tim Sparey

Tim joined Proximagen in November 2009 from Merck-Serono where he held the role of Head of UK Business Development. Formerly he was a Director in Licensing & External Research, Europe at Merck and he was also a Research fellow in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry (Group Leader) at Merck, working in Alzheimer's disease, Schizophrenia, Parkinson's disease, anaesthetics and stem cell therapeutics.



Corporate Development

Michael Brennan

Michael started his career in the City and has 14 years experience in various corporate finance and corporate broking roles, latterly as a Director in Corporate Finance with Evolution Securities. During this time he worked on over 30 corporate transactions as lead director including IPOs, rights issues, placings and various takeovers and M&A work.
